Kimberley has 25 years’ experience at a professional practitioner, board, and business owner level in the financial services sector, spanning business advisory, accounting, and wealth management. Kimberley is the Managing Partner and a shareholder of Adrians, one of Australia’s leading boutique integrated Chartered Accounting and Wealth Management firms. Kimberley is also a Director of Adrians Wealth Management, the business via which Private Wealth Advice is provided to clients.
Kimberley’s role at Adrians is to lead and oversee all aspects of the business including Business Advisory, Private Wealth, Tax Compliance, Operations, and Human Resources. At the same time she is still playing an active role as the trusted adviser to a selection of the firm’s business clients. Kimberley sits on the Advisory Boards of a number of these businesses, many of whom are high profile QLD success stories, with whom she has worked closely for years, providing strategic advice.
After finishing university with a Bachelor of Commerce she commenced her studies to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), achieving the Certificate of Merit Award for top 5% of candidates in Australia for Financial Reporting with CA ANZ, and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2000. Kimberley has also completed the Executive Program with a focus on Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School in the USA.
With a focus on giving back to the industry and community, Kimberley is on the Public Practitioner Panel for Chartered Accountants Australia and NZ, (CAANZ) and plays a formal mentoring role for a number of junior accountants at the early stages of their careers. In recognition of years of service to the profession, in 2021 Kimberley was admitted as a Fellow of the CA ANZ.
Kimberley has also held Board roles in not for profit organisations including as a Director of Habitat for Humanity NSW and Queensland. This is a cause she feels passionately about as it provides housing solutions for societies most underprivileged members. She is passionate about small businesses and seeing them grow as a result of good advice. She is also passionate about financial literacy and education for the next generation, and plays an active role as a member of the St Margaret’s School community running financial education sessions for girls at the school.
